Many thanks for the update. One can imagine the scenes and the people as you describe them.

After the Weinberg request for mistrial was denied, you have this lovely typo

the fury files in

I can well see the jury being somewhat furious about the delays and the legal arguments, so it read like a succinct description of their arrival in the court room.

Sprocket, thank you for the great description of everything.

From what you write it seems to me that Weinberg could easily alienate the jury. Trying to intimidate Vince with taxes and licensure doesn't seem to pertain much to what he saw and heard. I mean, he did work for Joan Rivers and was a bodyguard. Do Spector's bodyguards have impeccable backgrounds, I wonder?
Looking forward to your continued coverage, I think this is a bookworthy endeavor after all is said and done. Particularly like your observations of the people.

Thanks for the incredibly detailed journalism. If we can't watch the trial on TV, this is certainly the next best thing. Great writing . . . Thank You Again - I know it takes a great deal of your time, not just to attend the trial but to take the time and patience to post everything that went on. I look so forward to pulling up your website each day and am so excited when there is a NEW entry about the Spector trial. I was so disappointed, like so many others, to find out there was not going to be TV coverage for PS II, after getting so interested in following the 1st trial. It was so frustrating to have PS I end in a hung jury, then find out retrial wasn't going to be televised . . . That goodness for SPROCKET and her great coverage!

Thank you for the heads up on the typo liz. I'll correct it momentarily. It was near midnight when I finally got that entry up.

christine: It's very possible that with the cross examination Weinberg did of Devra Robitaille today he has lost the jury.

Thank you Mrs b. I will put up detailed entries as long as I can, but my sewing does have to come first.
