Casey Anthony - Queen of Lies

~Caylee Anthony

Guest Entry by Ritanita

Casey Anthony’s daughter is missing and she’s sitting behind bars on charges of neglect of a child, lying to investigators, and obstruction of a criminal investigation. From the time she first spoke to police on the phone on July 15th, this young woman has created a Byzantine labyrinth of lies. Her bizarre stories and continual lies have done nothing to help authorities find her child, alive or dead.

In a call with her brother Lee, Casey tells him how difficult it is to work with the police because they "misconstrue" what she tells them and doesn’t use the "information" she gives them properly. She indicates that the police expect her to give them exact information and correct spellings. She says that the police are unable to go beyond whatever she tells them, figure it out for themselves. Unfortunately, when she tells the police a pack of lies from the get-go, that’s what will happen. It’s no wonder the police have pretty much given up on interviewing her; they must be tired of going around in circles with her lies.

The lies and confusion will only continue in this case. Further on in the telephone call, Casey tells Lee that she told only two people about Caylee’s being missing, Jeff (Hopkins) and Juliet Lewis. She tells her brother that Jeff worked at Kodak and Juliet at Universal itself. Well, I’m sure many of you have read the arrest affidavit. Jeff was fired 5/13/02, and Juliet never worked there! If she indeed knows these people, it isn’t from working with them at Universal or Kodak or whatever company took over. Why doesn’t she tell her brother how she knows these people and why these are the people she confided in? She lied about these people in the beginning and she continues now. The best information about these two is that Juliet moved a couple of months ago and she thinks she has her phone number written down somewhere. She tells him to search through her bags at the house. I wonder if Lee will be able to do a better job of figuring out this mess.

Now, if that’s the best she could do to help her brother help her, imagine how much more confusion and consternation she has caused for the police. You can be sure they are combing the phone records, searching the credit card records, and tracking down the names and addresses of all women in Florida named Zenaida Gonzalez. There’s probably much more they are doing as well. They are interviewing Casey’s friends to track her movements over the past two months. They are canvassing neighbors and family friends. With the help of the FBI, they are tracking down leads out-of-state.
In the call, Casey says that her "gut feeling" is that Caylee is safe. Sorry, Casey, that’s not good enough. That little girl shouldn’t be missing at all. You shouldn’t just have a "gut feeling" about the welfare of your child, you should know that she is at home and safe and sound, surrounded by a family that loves her.

And Casey, does your "gut" lie as well as you?

As this case progresses, I do not think I have heard ONE SINGLE TRUTHFUL word from any member of the Anthony family, their attorney or even some of the friends who have come forth.

There have been numerous signs that this child is likely dead -- the smell of human decomposition in the car, the cadaver dogs picking up scents in the yard of the family's home and the general depraved indifference to the welfare of this little girl that the sociopathic Casey displays.

More than anything, it is the parade of lies that galls me. I cannot wait for the FBI to get their hands on Casey. Amazingly, after more than a week behind bars, this girl STILL has a belligerent attitude that the media and local cops are "not listening" to her and that she's told them valuable information when all she has told them is utter crap.

Her moronic mother, who obviously knows something, is also on the offensive and the men in that famiy -- father and brother -- are simply useless.

If the media could establish a lie-free zone as they proceed to report this story, I would certainly appreciate it. As the mother of three kids, including a 20-year-old daughter, I look at Casey and see the worst nightmare child possible. The nightmarish quality of Casey Anthony comes from her external resemblance to an average American adolescent girl.

Then again, I look at the mother and see the roots of her ruin.

Something is very bizarre at Chez Anthony but with a little investigation, the mysteries will be aired and Casey will be found.

By the way, something the grandmother said during one television interview could be significant. As she was spinning her web of lies about the alleged babysitter, she said that she thinks she is with Caylee in Georgia, headed towards the North Carolina mountains.

The specificity of this "conjecture" has stuck in my mind. It is time to send the cadaver dogs that way.

I've been there hiking. The deep woods are an ideal place to hide a body.

Between credit card purchases and phone records, I am sure that the paper trail on Casey during these last 6 weeks will lead to Caylee's body.

And I do hope that Casey can muster up enough character to confess her wrongdoings to her daughter and enable her to have a decent burial.

ok...
so Casey took Caylee to the imaginary babysitter who has no real name?
ok so...all phone records will be checked so even if she has no phone #s the phone companies do...
ok and since she took the gilr to the babysitter she only had on the clothing she was wearing right?
So where are all the clothes that Casey had packed for her daughter/
Are they returned home/
the shoes and toys everything is where/
should be given to the police..

i agree. the little girl is long dead and her body has been buried after casey took her "trip" with friends in her mother's car. the shovel was used to dig a grave somewhere in the mountains maybe and bury the kid who will most likely never be found unless casey confesses which she isn't going to do. the evidence will be circumstantial but hopefully enough for them to arrest her and tony as an accomplice. her family seems well meaning but the mother is now trying to lie for her daughter and the brother is in disbelief that his sister actually killed his niece.

TODAY CASEY'S LAWYERS REQUEST FOR A GAG ORDER HAS BEEN SHOT DOWN. FLORIDA HAS VERY SPECIFIC LAWS REGARDING PUBLIC RECORD. IT IS CALLED THE "SUNSHINE LAW" AND VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING IS PUBLIC RECORD WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS ETC. ALTHOUGH THIS MAY MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR AN IMPARTIAL JURY...IT DOES LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE THESE ARE. PRAY FOR LITTLE CAYLEE..

Does anyone remember the Trenton Ducket case in Florida? Of course with "mommy dearest" Casey in jail she can't take a shotgun to herself after a girl-to-girl talk with Nancy Grace ...

Fun fact: if the name "Juliet Lewis" doesn't already sound familiar, then it should. Because "Juliette Lewis" (different spelling of the first name, but same pronunciation) is a Hollywood actress best known for her work in Oliver Stone's film Natural Born Killers.

Ironic, no?

The shovel was returned to the neighbor a few hours later I think?
also somebody needs to ask the neighbor what exactly she said to her and why she needed the shovel.
I think she was shoveling DOO DOO cuz that's all she knows how to do is make up DOO DOO..
she is the DOO DOO woman...

I believe that when the car was returned and the grandfather retrieved it from the impound lot, he found the little girl dead inside the trunk. He went on to bury the body and drove the car home. When he returned home and Casey saw the car, but the grandfather never said anything about the body being in the trunk..........the conspiracy began.

The only thing Casey is concerned about is Casey. Just listen to her and it's all about me me me.

The way her family is protecting her, you can see how she got this way.
