Natalee Holloway's Remain's Found?

There are some brief reports being released that a jaw bone (or portions of a jaw bone?) were found washed up on a beach where Natalee Holloway was last seen. "Bone material" has been sent to the National Forensics Institute in the Hague, Netherlands by the Aruba prosecutor's office where it will undergo analysis to first determine if it is human. If the material is human, it could take up to a week to attempt to develop a DNA profile.

If, (and that's a big if at this point) this piece of bone is indeed Natalee Holloway, would this "finally" be the evidence Aruba authorities would need to charge Joran van der Sloot with her murder? Hopefully, we will have some news next week.

As many of you know, Joran is in a Peruvian prison awaiting trial in the murder of Stephany Flores.

Wouldn't that be amazing? I agree with you it is a big IF but it would be so nice to Beth would have some type of closure.

As you have mentioned maybe Joran can be charged which I doubt it, what proof will they get now? Unless the Kalpo (I am not sure if this is the correct spelling) brothers will say what they know. I believe they know something.

This is such a sad case. I wouldn't want to be in Beth's shoes.

It will be the longest week ever.

I don't think the Peruvian authorities would allow Van der Sloot to leave Peru. I presume he could still be charged in Aruba, assuming the remains are found to be those of Natalee Holloway.
