Rachelle Spector Talks to KSLG's John Matthews

Take a listen to this interview with Rachelle Short Spector on KLSG. It makes me wonder if I attended the same two trials she did. I sat through about 80% of the first trial and 100% of the second trial.

Rachelle mentions Linda Deutsch of the Associated Press, as covering both trials. That's kind of a stretch on the second trial. I know Harriet Ryan of the LA Times was at the retrial about 12 full days of the 60 plus days that I attended. Linda Deutsch, even less than that.

Curious that she left out some very pertinent details about the defense's experts! How convenient!!!

I mean, I mean, when people stop giving her a microphone to speak, much less sing, we will all be happier. If she weren't such a complete moron I would feel sorry for her. She's a joke.

She does have a PI license, I am shocked to say. I can guess how she managed that. Shocking!!

Sprocket,

Rachelle is using the launch of her CD for one reason-to pontificate her delusional and hurtful theories (and coached by Spector from prison)that Lana Clarkson was responsible for her own death and that her convicted murderer husband is innocent. This latest rant on the radio show you have embedded in your blog is most upsetting especially with most of it being outright false and disproved in a court of law. For the first time Rachelle admits that Linda Deutsch was their ally in both trials which alone is puzzling and hurtful. Although I have always liked AP's Linda Deutsch, have known and pitched her for 25 years with our well-known legal cases. Linda, sometimes has disappointed me and the friends, family, law enforcement and peers of Lana Clarkson- murdered by Phil Spector. This disappointment started early after the murder when Linda became the ONLY journalist to take a supportive slant on her writings toward Spector. Every single AP report of hers is tilted towards how great and famous he is and it takes up way too much space. She also never acknowledged that it was a murder but a "death". She was also one of the few journalists ever invited to the Spector mansion to party and to hang out during the trial and after. I have not attacked Linda, but I have attacked her latest AP article because this time she covers the clueless wife Rachelle who still spews out misinformation and false statements including that Lana Clarkson was responsible for her own death. Rachelle brings up the alleged evidence she claims shows that Lana was a call girl. Amazingly Rachelle also describes Lana's alleged sexual behavior with Spector. We have copies of the real evidence form the District Attorney's office which shows a listing of a name "Alana" in the madam's little black book. There is no name of Lana Clarkson or even Lana. By doing this, Rachelle insults the legal process, the jury process, and the prosecutorial/ forensic departments in law enforcement in Los Angeles who did a magnificent job in the face of evil, both in Spector himself and his overpaid unethical legal team and over-paid witnesses.. Racehelle Spector and Linda Deutsch have taken a wrong turn here that has puzzled both the legal and media communities--not to mention the Friends of Lana Clarkson.

It’s true, science doesn’t lie; however, those who are paid by a defendant to “manufacture” scientific reports do!

Did ‘Chelle say Lana consumed almost an entire bottle of tequila the night Spector murdered Lana? Just how does someone who’s at work consume almost an entire bottle of tequila? Let’s be real, if Lana consumed that much tequila, she would’ve been obviously impaired—so why didn’t her boss or co-workers tell the cops she was impaired? If she consumed that much tequila, how did she walk up the 88 stairs to the castle?

This just baffles me: did ‘Chelle really say that Leslie Abrahamson is working on Spector’s appeal? And Ronnie Spector thinks Phil’s innocent?

Mr. Lozzi, please remember the lies the Spector’s spew, are indicative of THEIR character, not Lana’s character.

What rubbish—her version of the evidence and her album! Does she not understand the ONLY reason she’s getting through any door at all is because of the scandal? It is obvious this interviewer had no interest in discussing her music but rather the sensationalism of this mess & with the hope of gaining an inroad to Spectacle…er…Spector himself. Her untruthful trouncing of Lana says everything we need to know about Rachelle.

Mr.Lozzi having read your comments after articles mentioning Lana I would like to say I admired your dedication to continue to defend your friend.

Sprocket, thank you for giving us the low down on the days Ms Deutsch attended. What I am finding as the time is passing is there are fewer to stand up and question appropriately what is being said by Rachelle.

I won't even clink the link, she's such a nobody. Let her bleed his estate dry. Who cares. If he lives to be released, then they'll both be washed up has-beens. I followed the case because I cared to see Justice done. Justice will take care of them just fine.

If I hadn't known it really was Rachelle, I would have thought it was a parody.

I wonder how the missus will feel when she is the same age as Lana Clarkson and she's working at a place as a hostess? The music career won't get her anything. In 10 yrs Spector will be long gone and she's now 40 and things don't come easy to her. I always feel what you ridicule and think you are better than will be the lesson you will have to learn. She will learn it the hard way. Lana Clarkson had a beauty about her and it was inside and out. The trial bride has a cold soul and vindictiveness about her. Someday the trial bride may be making her way up someone's steps and and having a drink and things go terribly wrong. I wouldn't be so flippant when I would have had a murder in my house and walk by that spot daily. Getting married by it just shows the total lack of any humanity or compassion for a deceased woman.
