Mrs. Spector, You've Been Served

In the 9th floor hallway of the Criminal Court building right after Rachelle Short exited Judge Fidler's courtroom for the lunch break, she was served with papers regarding the civil suit brought against her and her husband and their agent by the Westin Bonaventure. Back in June of last year, the Westin Bonaventure filed court papers suing Mr. and Mrs. Spector over non-payment of a hotel bill totaling over $104,000.

During the first trial, Phil Spector and his wife Rachelle stayed at the Westin Bonaventure. They also reserved rooms for their legal team and experts that testified in the first trial. According to this story, Phil Spector didn't pay the bill in the hopes of getting a discount. Immediately after receiving the papers today, Rachelle Short threw the papers on a bench in the hallway of the 9th floor.

Awesome! I wish I could have seen her face and her little temper tantrum! :)

I did not see Mrs. Spector's face when she was served so I have no idea if she had a temper tantrum or not.

Thank you for the update, Sprocket... I was wondering the other day what had happened to that law suit. I have a hunch it spoiled the rest of Rachelle and Phil's day.

Congratulations, Mr. Spector.
It is official! You are married to a 10 year old.

I can only wonder how RS will act the day she's served with DIVORCE papers. Because that day is coming, sooner than later....
Make sure you're out of her line of fire when that day comes!

I know that jurors probably weren't present, but what if they were? Whoever witnessed it today CANNOT view this woman in a good light, and once again it reflects poorly onto her husband.

Best,
John

She sounds like a child.. Wonder if Weinberg is owed any money.

Here’s hoping the Westin Bonaventure is charging 18 percent interest on the overdue bill!

What an asshat the Trial Bride truly is! I am sure she would say she was trying to protect ol’ Harvster from the stress of that mean old unfair hotel bill. Even though they did stay there and no doubt made hell for some poor maid making minimum wage LOL

Why do businesses front stuff (goods and services) to celebrities anyway? The rest of us would have had a credit card on file and once it was maxed out, our butts would be out on the street!

I cannot believe, nor can I get over, Rochelle.
They have at least civil cases pending---that we know of. Does she really think that once these lawyers get thru with him, that PS will have a dime left over?? These civil cases are horribly expensive; just ask Michelle Blaine.

I'm so glad Mrs. Spector (and proud of it!) had a bad day. LOL!

She's probably thinking, "Every dollar he pays the Westin is a dollar out of my divorce settlement."

I left out a word earlier:
There are at least FOUR civil cases pending.

Apparently Rachelle never heard that if you are maried, you not only share each others assets, BUT THEIR LIABILITIES ALSO! I'll bet she never thought in a million years that she would in any way be responsible for any debts incurred. HA HA!

Wes:

Besides the Westin Bonaventure, there is the Clarkson's case, and I believe two cases by former singer/artists.

If those are not the ones you are referring to, please let me know.
