Casey and Lee Anthony High Five

Each day that goes by, this story just gets stranger and stranger. Mr. Sprocket, ~ who is quite 'out of the loop' on this case, did not understand why the "high five" image was so offensive to people.

I believe it is quite possible that Casey told either Lee or her mother a sanitized version of what really happened.

To me, Cindy and George are in complete denial. Kudos to their new legal representative for being able to get Cindy to finally STFU and stop making these ridiculous statements in defense of her child to the press.

Casey Anthony with her blank affect and her pathological lying is in my opinion, indicative of a deep seated personality disorder, specifically one of the Cluster B's, as outlined in the DSM IV.

When a disorder is this deeply seated, prayer or turning to God won't help. Confrontation won't help. Casey will stick with this story no matter what happens. Even (eventually) showing Casey Caylee's remains won't help.

I don't believe there is anything anyone can do or say that will get Casey to "tell the truth" about what really happened to her child. Ranting and raging at her and/or her extended family won't help either.

There is one thing I am certain of, and that is Caylee is dead. There is no other explanation for the decomposition smell in Casey's car, and I really feel for those individuals who are holding onto a shred of hope that she is still alive, but imho, she was dead not long after Casey and Caylee left Cindy and George's home.

For those of you who've asked, George was a sheriff in the state of Ohio. That was some time ago.

I haven't had the opportunity to listen to the interviews with Casey Anthony when she was first arrested, but I hope to do that tonight and put up a commentary, later.

I'm sorry, but from now on, I will no longer accept comments that have any words in ALL CAPS. It's considered shouting. Nor will I accept any comments that suggest incest is involved in Caylee's paternity.

Cindy Anthony needs to realize that Casey is punishing her for putting her mooching tale out of her house and hoping to get Caylee. Casey is minipulative and will go to any extent to get her way. She is selfish and ruthless. Casey is not pocessed by demons as some say, she is down right cold and vicious.

I guess I may be ignorant of some of the laws, but I totally do not understand how if this is supposed to be a kidnapping (according to Casey) that she would and could refuse to cooperate with the FBI...also why didn't the police or FBI ask Casey to to give details to have an artist sketch Zenaida? You see missing children with photos or sketches of the last known person they were seen with. Did they not ask because they were aware of her lies from the beginning? It is truly a heartbreaking story...for beautiful little Caylee

My anger is aimed at casey for the way she is pretending to love this child. she states to the detectives all she wants is her daughter back yet continues to lie lie lie.She speaks in past tense & that is her subconscience(sp?)telling the truth. We all know she is guilty of killing Caylee & disposing of the body and so do her parents. I know we won't see what we would like to in this case, her getting convicted of this crime, but we do know she will pay. KARMA!!!!

Thinking that Casey would act normal is close to impossible because she is that sick. I know her kind and how they operate. She wouldn't even flinch if you told her that her daughter has been found and is safe. WHY?? Because she already knows that will never be the case. As far as her lifelong dysfuntional relationship with her parents--well she really is winning now that she has control and is not giving any info. Yep that is exactly how she sees it

After hearing that Casey told friends that her parents were going to give her their house, I got to wondering. Do you think that Casey had plans to quiet her parents too with the chlorophorme(SP)? This has been a nagging thought with me. The two people that stood in her way to getting away with Caylee's death were her parents.
This horrific story about Caylee makes me ill.Knowing there is such evil in Casey, I pray she gets locked up forever.

Casey is smiling because she is in the spotlight and has the attention that she always craved. In Casey’s mind she thinks she is a star with all the attention she is getting. Prior to her daughter becoming missing she was fighting with her mother over all the stealing she was doing. Her mother, who had raised Caylee since her birth, was threatening to take custody of Caylee away from Casey because she believed Casey was an unfit mother. As a result, Casey felt like she was not as important to her mother as Caylee. Feeling like her mother had replaced her with Caylee, she decided to punish her mother. Casey knew that the best way to hurt her mother was to take Caylee away from her. Therefore, Casey moves out of her mother’s house and takes Caylee with her. Poor little Caylee is now a pawn in a game that Casey is playing to get her way with her mother. Not too long after moving out of her mother’s house, Casey realizes she can’t go out to the clubs and party with a two year old in tow. With no money to pay a sitter and not having her mother to watch Caylee, she decided to take Caylee with her and leave her in the car. Now, Casey has to find a way to leave Caylee in the car without anyone finding out. Casey then decides to drug little Caylee with chloroform so she will go to sleep and not draw attention to herself in the car. Not wanting Caylee to wake up and someone see her in the car, Casey leaves the cloth with the chloroform on it on Caylee’s face to keep her asleep. After the night of clubbing, Casey returns to her car and finds Caylee dead from an overdose of chloroform. Panicking, Casey tries franticly to get a hold of her mother. Failing to find her mother, Casey put Caylee in the trunk, drives out to a swamp, and dumps little Caylee’s body in the swamp. Not wanting anyone to find out what she did she tells everyone Caylee is with a nanny. Then when all hell breaks loose for Casey, her mother who had just days earlier held Casey out to be unfit, begins touting Casey as the MOTHER OF THE YEAR. So now Casey has her mom back in her life supporting her and singing her praises. She also had the attention of the nation. In addition, she has a lawyer that she gets to spend every day with at his office and bodyguards. With all the attention Casey’s warped mind is telling her she is a star in the spotlight, not a woman who murdered her little girl because she wanted to go out and party. Telling the truth about what she did would take her star status away and she would just be the egotistical sociopath that she has always been. Casey is a person who has always taken what she wanted in life without any regards to how her actions would hurt others. Her life has always been about Casey and no one else. To Casey, taking little Caylee’s life is just one more thing she had to do to get what she wanted. For Casey, telling the truth about what she has done with her little girl would mean she would have to face what kind of person she really is and the world would see what a low life she really is.

I think that if the grandparents loved Caylee the way they say they do that they would have taken temporty custody of her, until Casey could have proven herself to be a fit and responsible mother. Sometimes being a mother and grandmother is one of the hardest jobs in the world. Your children and grandchildren look up to you for support, wisdom, guidance and most of all safety. Once in awhile you have to go against your child to ensure the safety of a grandchild. They will appreciate it in the long run. I think she waited to late to act on her grand-motherly instincts she must have had.

As for Casey, I think she has used and abused her parents and people around her most of her life. I think she has lied, scemed and done most anything she wanted without facing any kind of consequences. That has created an EVIL PERSON.

I think the Anthony Family is having a hard time coming to terms with what they helped create, that is why they are in so much denial.

I feel that baby Caylee is at peace in the Kingdom of Heaven and the family will have to live with what they have done and not done for the rest of their lives.

I have been watching this story unfold since it aired the first night. It has taken over my every thought.

I'm hoping that the police also charge her her obstruction of justice for each lie she told them and for each goose chase she sent them on. She needs to find out that there is consequences for all wrong doings. She should never get out of jail.

Come on people think about it, why would Cindy and George be siding with this freak of nature. I'll tell u why, either Casey's father or brother is involved in helping get rid of Caylee's body. It makes perfect sense. Here's my theory Cindy took her shrinks advice and kicked her no good mooching daughter out of her house. I believe she was also planning on taking Caylee from Casey, also as her shrink suggested. Maybe she told Casey that or Casey just presumed it knowing how much her mother loved that child. So being the little psychopath that she is she kills Caylee just to keep her mom from getting the one thing she wanted more than anything else in the world, and to also gain the freedom she has always wanted. So when Cindy found the car she calls 911 and tells "something's wrong it smells like there has been a dead body in the damn car. Then she confronts Casey and discovers that either the brother or George had gotten their hands dirty as well and then she has to start helping cover up too. She washes Casey's clothes, retracts her previous statement, and starts trying to convince people that Caylee is still alive. Remember her brother is the one that picked Casey up at the "abandoned car" and he says that Casey said "Don't worry dad's going to take care of it", everyone presumed that she meant he was coming to take car of the car, maybe not, maybe it was what was in the trunk of the car. I believe the brother or George helped her in getting rid of the body. Of course for the brother or George to do this I'm sure she fed this some outlandish tale about how she didn't purposely kill Caylee, but that she was afraid other people would believe she did and which ever one it was helped her get rid of the body. If I had to guess I would say it was probably George, who better to get to help you hide a body from the cops, than a former cop. That's why none of them will take the lie detector test, they all know damn well what happened and now they are all involved and in it up to their knees. U also have to realize the guilt Cindy has to be feeling knowing that Caylee is dead as a result of her kicking Casey out, that's how she would probably see it anyway. I really do sympathize with this family, other than Casey of course, but come on now enough is enough, come clean and let this little girl be given a proper burial so her soul can rest in peace, you all owe her that much, she deserves at least that much.

If you've never heard of her before, she is one of 50 human lie detectors that have been scientifically documented. Please read her take on Cindy Anthony.

I don't believe that Cindy is involved in a cover-up in any way. I think it's like Cindy's brother Rick has posted on several internet forums: the rest of the family keeps George out of the loop. With George's temper, it's doubtful he has the ability to remain focused and plan a body dump disposal. It's been quite a few years since he was an Ohio State Sheriff.

I think that the family was told "something" by Casey, but with her track record for lying, I doubt it was the full truth. More likely, she left out quite a few details, and/or spun the truth to put her negligence in the best possible light.

I think the main reason the family refused polygraphs is, not because they "know" something, but because they feel that the police have lied to them, are not actively searching for their grandchild, as well as feeling that the OCSO owe them an apology. (Remember Cindy's demand?) With that type of attitude, it's not surprising that they refused to take polygraphs.

I am wondering a couple of things..1st off..if this supposed "babysitter" has been found to be an "invention" and not even a real person, is it possible that maybe there IS a REAL babysitter out there somewhere that can be located? I mean, I do believe that she [Casey] did indeed leave the child SOMEWHERE while she was out doing her thing, that or maybe she had been leaving this little girl in the truck..knocked out from chloroform, so that she could go about her business and not have someone notice the child in the car. Maybe she accidentally left the rag she used in the truck..that in turn continued to release chemicals..and she came back to find Caylee dead. Also..if they DO find remains of that sweet little baby, what is the likelyhood that Caylee has ever been to the dentist at such a young age to have X-rays taken? Or what is the likelyhood that she has suffered a broken bone that could be used to identify her remains? Just a few thoughts/questions. And I would also like to send my best wishes to the grandparents. I cannot imagine what agony they must be enduring with every breath they take. This has to be like a nightmare that they cant wake up from.

There was no babysitter other than the grandparents. It was an invention. The child is dead. The only place Casey "left her" is where she buried her.

There are several scenarios I can think of as to how this child died, none of them involve just leaving her child someplace or with someone. She either died in the car, or possibly in the family pool.

i'm a great grandmother and can not belive all this show caseing this anthony family is doing . makes me just sick to see all this going on . i say no one should help them in any way. yes look for this poor little girl but that's it . i wouldn't give a penny toward this girl's defense at all nor would i the parents . this family is totally nuts period. i hear about her rghts being volidated well what about this poor little girl missing ? where are her rights to be found . how so sad this story is . a mother who don't care parents coveriing up for the mother and a brother who high 5's his sister . very very strange in my book anyway

Maybe "Zani" as Casey refers to her is really Xanax. Could it be that Casey gave Caylee Xanax, and
used the cloroform to put her to sleep until the Xanax kicked in?

I think that mom Casey has inherited her mother's art in lying. I don't for a minute believe in the grand-parents being in denial. I think it is obvious that the grand-mother is the one wearing the pants and that George is a doormat and that grandma is covering up more than she is willing to admit...Having said that, I wonder what was in the purse that mom Casey left in her car. Who of us women just walk away and leave our purse in a car let alone an abandonned car! This might be a detail but it sure is strange... Wonder what she was doing from 7 a.m. until boyfriend picked her up with grocery bags around eleven? She paid for the groceries--she must have had her purse with her then. She greets her boyfriend with her shopping bags and yet she forgets her purse in the car hum... Very very fishy.

Unfortuately Caylee's body probably won't be found if mom dumped her in a forest or swamp area. An alligator probably came upon her body as a meal. Ask an expert if an alliagtor can completely digest human bones (?) If so mom got rid of the body evidence forever!

I am a mother and a grandmother and i just cannot understand this whole thing the girl or her family. I believe in sticking up for your family, but you better believe if one of my grandchildren came up missing daughter or not the line would be drawn. I have been following this story from the start and parts of this don't make sense. She is having trouble with her family, i understand at one point the grandmother wanted to take the child and raise her, she is living with her boyfriend as if she is not concerned at all with where her daughter is, she is high fiving her brother and her car is parked by a dumpster out of gas. The car is found and has an odor of decomposition in it. Well I am begining to wonder if maybe they might not want to consider the option that another family member may have been with the little girl at the time and something may have happened either meaningful or accidental. After all the computer where all the searches was made was taken from within the grandparent's house. I just wonder could it be they are covering up for her or maybe she for them...Either way i believe that when cindy made that 911 call she knew exactly what had happened if not why would she say it smells like a dead body has been in the car.. I know they say she can't be arrested because she done what anyone else would do by washing the pants, but your grandaughter has been missing for a month her mom's car smells like a dead body and you start grabbing stuff out of it and head straight for the washer i smell cover up or guilt..Maybe they should be looking into where the family was including her brother at the time of the dissapearance..

The only way Casey is going to talk is if everyone backs off for a few months. Plant a wired police officer or private investigator in the bar she is running around in and strike up a relationship of sorts. Let her know in a roundabout way that you are a grieving parent, uncle, whatever. Flirt back with her. Casey will string out the story of how her daughter was abducted and found wherever and how she can't get her daughter back because of extradition or because she was murdered. It will be the closest to the truth she will ever give and only because it then makes her the focus and garners sympathy and compassion for her. What drives this type of person is self-indulgence which is why she can bang 4 guys at a time when she is supposed to be engaged to one of them-I know my sister is one of these demented people. They are always the victim, always the hero, always the "best friend" when there is something in it for them. As for her children, couldn't give a rats about them unless they served a purpose-baiting men, garnering attention for herself but never once, never did she genuinely care about her kids-she isn't capable of caring about anything; just in having the world revolve around her at any price to anyone or anything. The pictures of her with her children aren't a whole lot different than Casey's-looking like the loving happy parent-but look closer, they are always posing for the camera, not looking at their children and even in some photos showing as little of them as they can get away with short of shoving them out of the picture-there is always more of her in the picture than of her children.

She's not that stupid, she had plenty of time to think this out..(30 days..)Besides, you don't have an ex-cop for a Dad, & not pick-up somethings..that you need to know to try & cover your tracks..I think that's why in one of her recorded statements while being interrogated, she made a statement saying, Caylee is close & safe..Yeah,(Safe with God..) that is..Hopefully, I'm wrong & she is alive, but, I feel with everything I've heard since all this has came about, I doubt it..My the Lord bring peace to this awful event that has taken place..

This is my first post. Like all of you I'm obsessed with this case. Bill, your question about the lack of a police sketch goes right along with the fact that there has been NO AMBER ALERT issued. From the beginning, I have wondered how could such a dependent person not have her parents be more involved in any daycare issues such as dropping Caylee off at least once with "the nanny"?!Like one commentor asked "who refers to the babysitter as a nanny?!" Maybe someone who lives in their own private, elaborately constructed fantasy world. How did Casey pay for this nanny? How could Cindy and George, knowing what kind of person their daughter is, not check up on every aspect of who was watching Caylee, Casey's "job" at Universal,etc. There are some glaring issues that have not been addressed by the media. However, I do believe that the police HAVE looked at these minor details and have MUCH more information than they are allowing to be released. We must all wait for the trial of this person (cannot bring myself to call Casey a "mother"). You all have great posts and hopefully the Anthony family has read some of them and are asking themselves some hard questions.

If Caylee was held Hostage by Cuban Drug dealers, until Cassy can pay her drug bill and the dealers told her not to talk to police or Media or they will kill Caylee, Can Casey Anthony Sue Nancy Grace off the air for her stupidity? How about suing the police or the protesters?

Police lie and that is a fact, they lied that they have surveillance video and Casey not on it. If they had it, Nancy Grace should Show us the Surveillance video. I been watching her news and its been the same thing for a month now. I want to see the Surveillance video that shows the Apartment the police say they have.

Remember the 6 year old who was raped and mother murdered and kept asking who did it? who did it? who did it ? and the girl said it looked like Uncle and they uncle spent years in jail while the real rapist was living next door?

I think she (Casey) is totally NUTS. How can any human being, let along a mother, not be beating the bushes trying to find her daughter and showing SOME SORT of emotion?

But I also believe she is smarter than we all give her credit for. She knows the longer she doesn't talk, the harder it will be for little Caylee's body to be found.

She totally contadicts her storey with the original comments stating that Caylee is with someone she trusts but has no contact information on hat person? And has the police contacted or "followed" this "nanny" again? Maybe she really does have something to hide.

My concern is, if the police have all this evidence and information... everything except a confession, why are they stalling in an arrest of some sort?

we all know what casey is and we all know she lies and she is cold, and all the people on blog have great points, thier are so any questions that need to be answerd, like why we have not heardany more about the SHOVEL? AND HAVE THEY TRIED TO FIND OUT HOW MANY MILES SHE WENT FROM THE LAST TANK OF GAS WHEN SHE FILLED UP AND WHEN SHE RAN OUT OF GAS, IN BETWEEN ALL THE MILES SHE WENT with the gas that is the time line that has to be checked out some where in those areas calee is there is she near a dump lakes. and I know in my heart the police have checked out all these points, so lets see if we can get behind bars, FIND CALEE

I apologize for having an opinion about Caylee's paternity.
I cannot re-state that opinion since you have put a 'gag order' on that.
Again. I apologize for thinking I was in America, and could have an opinion.
You probably will not 'allow' this opinion to be posted either; but that is okay, because I will be moving on to another blog, where the chances of being allowed to have a free-thinking opinion is greater.
Maybe there are others online who still believe in 'Free Speech in America.'

Although Casey's behavior and lies defy logic, I've seen zero evidence to support an allegation or personal "theory" that George (or Lee) have engaged in incest with Casey.

Cindy, George and Lee chose to stand by Casey and support her in spite of overwhelming evidence that she was involved in the death of her child. Most of the general public cannot understand that position. But it's not new. Jackie and Lee Peterson still stand by their son and proclaim his innocence. So do the parents of Neil Entwistle.

To me, these people who continue to support their loved one have lost all sense of objectivity in the face of a terrible tragedy. I believe that's because they now also fear losing more.

To me, in no way is their support of their loved one solid evidence that they themselves have committed the criminal act(s) that have been suggested all over the Internet.
