Just a few observations from this deposition:
Lee never really asked Casey any questions about the month Caylee was missing. Seems like he just accepted what she said or made assumptions, no challenges.
Lee is the king of vague. When asked who did you talk to when looking for Casey? We um we have like a hundreds of friends, we said such and such, looked here and there...we tried to figure out. geesh! Must be a family trait. Never specific about anything...guess he didn't want to lie under oath...too much.

I thought it interesting when really pressed about saying he {{{has}}} to believe everything his sister says so he can get information, that is his strategy because there is some truth to what she says she just isn't saying everything. Talks in circles.

I think this whole family is a study in denial. Either that or they've all inherited a "stupid" gene.

Like ritanita said to me, you would have thought they would have all sat down together and had an information sharing session, but not this family.

That's right, Sprocket!

I just got to watch them today and am still digesting what I heard and saw.

Lee wouldn't make a very good detective. He was afraid to ask Casey the hard questions, since she is one who is known to throw tantrums when things get tough.

So, he just has to go from what she says, aka believe her!

I am also starting to think that there is a "dumb" gene running through that family. I am coming to believe that they don't have the ability to put two and two together and come up with four.

Rather than look at the situation and compare notes, Cindy did her thing, Lee did his thing, and George baby-sat the tent and drove around with the billboard.

When he said at the memorial that the family was united, I think the one and only thing holding them together is that they can't bring themselves to believe Casey could kill Caylee.

They are so blind to Casey's flaws. I am sure they've viewed all the jailhouse videos and listened to that phone call the first night she was in jail. Yet, they can't see how they were being manipulated.

When Lee recounted the call from Casey that upset us all, he never mentions that all she wanted was Tony's number.

They are hopeless. Let's see what happens with Cindy and George!

I believe Lee is either slightly mentally retarded or a high functioning autistic adult. He is not faking his inability to present cognitive thought patterns. He has no normal behavior patterns. There is a reason he can only park cars for a living. If you read his blog from last year, he writes like a 10 year old.

I believe they have been hiding this and many other things about Lee.
